Anti-Ragging Committee
Ragging is strictly prohibited in the college premises and outside. Students involving in ragging will be punished as per Tamilnadu Prohibition of Ragging act, 1997.
Observing the orders issued by Hon’ble Supreme Court, stating that ragging is strictly prohibited in the educational institutions in any form. An anti-ragging committee is formed and headed by the undersigned to check any act of ragging among the students.
Students, Parents or guardians may contact any of the following teachers to inform about ragging if any occurs in the campus.

What is Ragging?
Any resulting in:
Mental or Physical or sexual abuse
Verbal abuse
Indecent behavior
Criminal
Intimidation or Wrongful Restraint
Undermining human dignity
Financial Exploitation or Extortion
Use of Force
A student involving in ragging can be:
Expelled from the Institution.
Banned from the Hostel.
His/Her scholarship can be withdrawn.
Debarred from Examination.
Denied admission to any Institution.
Prosecuted for criminal action.
Face action of institution filing FIR with local police against those who rag or abet ragging.
National Service Scheme (NSS)
It provides opportunity to our graduate students to take part in various government led community service activities and programmes. The motto of the National Service Scheme is NOT ME BUT YOU.
Benefit of being as NSS volunteer.
Being an active NSS volunteer, they would have the exposure and experience to be the following:
- An accomplished social leader.
- An efficient administrator.
- A person who understands human nature major activities.
Cultural Committee
“A true artist is not the one who is inspired, but the one who inspires them”
This committee seeks to create a platform that provides for the students with an opportunity to expose creative talents in a variety of ways.
The engrossing events are Food Festival, Thai Pongal Festival, Independence Day celebration, Republicday celebrations, etc.
Our students have participated in various inter college competitions and won medals and trophies.
Sports Committee
“ Health is Wealth ”
This committee aspires to inculcate qualities such as sportsmanship, team spirit and bonding. We encourage the students to participate actively in organizing various sports and games both indoor and outdoor in the college.
Our management encourages the sports activity for the students by providing infrastructure, coaching facilities, freeship, attendance concession (As per the university norms) and priority in state government policies at the management level.
We maintain records of sports and games events attended by students in the intercollege level, state level, national level achievements and awards.

Fine Arts Club
“ Alls well that ends well ”
This club brings out the artistic talented among the students. It motivates and inspires the students to actively learn and develop their talent and skills.
In our college from various departments our students eagerly participating in differend kinds of arts such as Painting, Poster Designing, Clay Modeling, Collage work, Cartooning, Pencil drawing, Elocution, Group Discussion, Debate, Music, Dance, etc.
